Micro Epsilon To Produce & Distribute Color Masterbatches

Plastics producers can now source color masterbatches from Lebanon-based manufacturer.


Micro Epsilon has signed an agreement with First In Colors (FIC) to produce, market and sell color masterbatches throughout Africa and the Middle East.

This strategic alliance, effective August 2005, complements Micro Epsilon's existing portfolio of anti-block and anti-oxidant additives, polymer processing aids, UV stabilizers, and white masterbatches.

Plastics producers and injection moulding manufacturers use color masterbatches to produce everyday household and industrial products: specialty films and packaging, home appliances, household wares, lawn and garden furniture, automotive components, electronics, wires and cables and more.

As part of the agreement, Micro Epsilon will use proprietary FIC mono-concentrates and process them with carriers and additives, utilizing FIC-Micro Epsilon joint expertise and the latest in color matching software and equipment.

Finished products will be tailor-made to meet or exceed end product attributes and performance, including exact matches of customers' shade requirements.
